This adobe, case of unusual beauties,
has witnessed particularly crucial
events through the centuries, at times
even extraordinary ...
It has terraces for a total of 200
square meters, with breathtaking view on
the surrounding countryside.
Pedestrian path and driveway to access
the property.
The interiors are in pure gothic style,
with old
fired-tyles or wooden floorings, while
the load-bearing structure is a masonry,
mostly sandstone, tufa and brickworks.
Lofts are basically in wood and within
sight, others are brickworks displayed
in vaults.
The castle has four different entrances
to the ground floor, leading to the
different rooms, and a fifth one which
leads to the chapel.
Here there are a total of 18 rooms,
among these you'll find the throne room,
two large halls, a dining room, the
chapel and more.
The dining room is one of the most
representative rooms, with its beautiful
fireplace and the stone
lintel with family Alberici coat of
arms.
The wooden boiserie hides a secret
passage, spoiled in
past times as an emergency way out in
case of danger. The ceiling, partly
painted in fresco, keeps remains of
ancient splendors.
The staircase connects the ground floor
with the upper floors. The first floor
has 13 rooms, bedrooms,
sitting-rooms, bathrooms, and more.
This floor is also reachable through two
outer accesses. The upper floor has 9
rooms
Here you'll find the armour, the
library, the ladies sitting room, three
bedrooms and annexed bathrooms.
The second floor can also be reached
through the outer stair of the
drawbridge, or through the more
ancient one, leading to the armour.
The castle is very easy to reach (see
map) and suitable for different
purposes. Its architecture allows, with
a simple maintenance, to make it a
private house, a tourist structure,
hotel, different apartments, a
representation abode, chateau-Relais,
bed&breakfast, and further more.
The Perugian Municipality released a
building license which allows a castle's
fragmentation in 9 separate housing
units, of different size, with annexed
swimming pool.
The castle is a high historic and
artistic valued property, that's why it
has many financial, fiscal and
economical benefits from the Ministry of
Culture, according to
law 1089 of 1939.
The Umbria region allows to create an
alternative accommodation, i.e. Inn's,
structure in the castle as a historic
abode.
A small capital investment is an
operation of secure income!
There is also the possibility to
consider joint-venture operations with
entrepreneurs or private groups.
